​The longer answer .....

.... is that we only have 1 - 2 cake collection slots per week, depending upon the size and complexity of each cake.  Great design takes time.  We don't want to rush any customer cake - our cake decorators aim to ensure that every detail accurate.  We also don't want to rush you in the design process to make any hasty decisions.

Dates do book up some time in advance, so the earlier you call, the more certain we can be of securing your date.  That way there is time to properly discuss your requirements, and make sure that the design, and budget, are suitable to create your appropriate edible memory, without too much rushing.

If there is a particular date that you want the cake for, it is worth booking it well in advance.  Some customers book 3 - 6 months or more in advance, to ensure they get the date that they want for their event.  Sometimes we are almost fully booked for the next 3 months, with just a few gaps.  We don't want to disappoint any customers. 

 

However sometimes we do have a gap in the next 2-3 weeks, so if you are last minute, it's always worth asking, to see if we can fit something in, without compromising other customer cakes.
